Event Delivery Crew

Full time position available as a part of our Maintanace & event delivery crew.

The role covers a large range of roles including but not limited to.

• General Maintanace and repair of our catering equipment and vehicles.
• General Maintanace and support of our fixed site locations.
• Assist in the preparation of equipment and loading of vehicles prior to events.
• Setting up and supporting our equipment on-site as well as the pack down and removal of equipment.
• Assist in the construction of new catering units and other assets needed by the business.

This role will involve metal work and woodworking. There is always something new to dig our teeth into.

This role requires a can do attitude, organisational skills and the ability to problem solve. Any candidate must be self motivated.

General Maintanace skilled are preferred and the ability to use power tools safely.

A forklift license is preferred but not necessary.

A full Driving license is required.

The job will involve weekend and bank holiday work as needed.

We are looking for Operational Team Members to assist in the smooth delivery and operation of our catering services.

Farrs Catering Group have been supporting Events & Sporting Venues across the south for over 40 years, and are looking for the right people to join us and help deliver our services.

As Operational Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring all of our event requirements are fulfilled and third party suppliers are

Your Role within the company will include

• Preparing units prior to events, ensuring the cleanliness and suitability for the event, as well as organising support equipment, and ensuring stock levels are correct.
• liaising with third party suppliers of other services as the event plan may require
• Managing a team of staff to prepare our larger venue partners ensuring time sensitive events are delivered on time and efficiently
• Supporting our mobile teams at our many shows and events.
• Oversee and manage our smaller events

Essential

• Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, who is able to maintain and grow our relationships with customers and suppliers
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments in all weather conditions
• A background in catering or a strong understanding of the catering Sector
• Good administrative skills with the ability to use IT systems to efficiently run the business
• Full Valid UK Driving Licence
• The ability to quickly problem solve without compromising the event or cutting corners

Desirable

Fully literate in IT with experience of EPOS systems.

Good working knowledge of Food Hygiene Legislation

Valid Fork Lift License

We are a long running family business seeking to expand our Catering Business, specialising in mobile catering we operate Food and Bar units at Shows, Events and Sporting Venues throughout the UK. As part of our expansion we are looking to fill a number of roles within the business.

We are looking to expand our team and find the perfect candidate for our new role as Event Coordinator. The ideal candidate must show attention to detail and working with the client ensure events are handled perfectly every time.

We are looking for someone who can develop great relationships with the clients, and take on board the wishes and goals, and working with the management team, develop and implement the best food and beverage options for the event.

We cater for many different types of events, from small parties to major football matches and music festivals. Every event is different.
